New Job Haul

Hey Internet Friends,

Where have I been?! Well let me tell you my lovely lot, Ive been getting myself a new job! Its in the area that I studied my degree so Im really excited about the opportunity, but I had a bit of a problem, the job Ive had for the past three years has required me to wear a uniform so I needed to get a few more pieces for my wardrobe and other bits and bobs to make me look like an actual grown up. Ive gone with pieces that I can team up with things I already have to look that extra bit nicer!

I still have a few more bits and bobs of stationary to get but this is the main bulk of it. I hope this job turns out to be what Im after because its cost me some major £££!

Lets Start with the clothes…

Clothes

I also picked up some black trousers but you all know what black trousers look like….
Oh and a black dress!

I really wanted to do you a cute look book for this post but the weather in Sheffield where I live is absolutely horrendous! And as much as I love all of you Im not willing to stand in the rain for you.

The three tops are from New Look and are very reasonably priced.
All under £30 which is a real bargain for the quality of the pieces.
The coat is a military style fitted coat from Wallis and is absolutely stunning, the lining is satin and it really feels special. This is my favourite pieces that Ive bought recently.

The Shoes…

shoesThe shoes on the left are a beautiful suede fabric with a wooden heel and surprisingly they are very comfortable so hopefully I can cope with wearing them all day. Im usually a Vans and converse kinda girl…
The flats just a more comfortable option for when my feet finally give in and lets be honest on really busy days they might, I may even leave them in office so Ive got my flat ‘security blanket’ shoes on hand.

The Organiser….

This Organiser is from Paperchase and I’ve never had a proper organiser before so I feel incredibly responsible.
You buy the organiser with a few files already inside but I chose to buy the additional sections of the cute sticky notes, agenda, to do and shopping sections.
I am honestly really happy with this buy and feel it was a real bargain with 50% off from £22 at £11.

And now for the fun stuff, the new Make Up….

DSC06312

New Mac Lipsticks are my favourite new make up things.
This shade is Mehr in the Matte finish and it is beautiful!
I think we shall talk about that in more detail soon if you’d like?

I also grabbed a new Mac Ebony eyeliner because these are the most pigmented long wearing eyeliners EVER and are perfect for tight lining.

The Concealer is my favourite for dark under eye circles which will help with all the eye bags I’m going to have from working all these hours! Its got excellent coverage but if your a BBlogger you probably know that already because EVERYBODY loves it.

The Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter are another little mega star in the bloggersphere recently, I’ve seen a lot of you going crazy about these so I wanted to see what all the fuss is about and I totally get it. Beautiful subtle shine and perfect for any skin tone, what more do you need!

Hope you guys enjoyed this little post about my new job bits and bobs.

Any tips for my first day? They’d be much appreciated!

I love the make up revolution highlighters, I mix the gold and peach together to get a gorgeous rose gold colour.
    Congratulations on the new job.
